🔧 Precision Engineering with Cold Forging Technology
SNTP couplers utilize a cold forging process to prepare the bar ends. This method enlarges the bar diameter without reducing its cross-sectional area, maintaining — and in fact enhancing — the mechanical properties of the threaded bar section. Threads are formed using SNTP’s high-precision threading machines, resulting in a parallel thread system that ensures uniform load transfer and high repeatability.
Each threaded bar is proof-loaded to at least the yield strength of the parent rebar, ensuring safety and reliability in every joint.

METHODOLOGY

Cut: Rebar ends are cut square.

Forge: Bar ends are enlarged using a hydraulic cold forging press.

Thread: Threads are formed on the enlarged ends using SNTP threading machines.

Join: Bars are joined using SNTP couplers.
This method ensures the cross-sectional area remains intact, delivering a splice that matches or exceeds the parent bar’s strength.
